Update DNS Zone after transfer (error) CPANEL

Symptoms

After transferring a domain with the Transfer Tool, the domain does not have an entry within /etc/localdomains or /etc/remotedomains.

Description

This issue is caused by the “Update DNS Zone” option being disabled when the transfer is processed.

We’ve opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-48339. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.

Workaround

Leave the “Update DNS Zone” option enabled or manually configure the domain’s mail routing after the transfer has completed.
